Repeat..Repeat..Repeat... 26/01/11

Repeat, repeat, repeat. The one requirement to this project... What things can I incorporate the theme of repeat to a piece of paper?

  • The times I fold the paper?
  • The method of how the paper is folded?
  • The repetition of a shape, creating a pattern?
  • Does repetition count if it made from one continuous piece of paper or seperate sheets.
Thinking of the word repeat conjures up thoughts of....

Repetition of patterns in nature which are extremely complexed
mathematically and not even noticed due to their small scale.

This is related to nature, I know, but the thought that repetition reminds me of an action
which leaves a mark, leaving a pattern. So the movement of the side-winder and it's track are both repetitive.

Shells are a beautiful form which define repetition whether they are singular or
in a collection
